Basic Preparations: Netgear CBR750 Setup
Setting up the WiFi 6 router will become a breeze for you if you gather some basic info and essentials required for the process. Here are the basic things that you will have to do:
- Collect the information of your ISP. It will include your account information like mobile number, user name, password, account number, etc.
- If your ISP is Xfinity, make sure that you have the latest version of the Xfinity app installed on your mobile phone.
How to Set Up Netgear CBR750 Using Orbi Interface?
You can use set up the router through the web interface by accessing the default IP address or the orbilogin.com URL on a web browser. Here are the steps to be followed:
1. Connect the CBR750 Modem Router
- Turn off and disconnect an already installed modem in our house.
- If you are replacing the modem, you should unplug it, and connect your CBR750 router into that outlet.
- Using the coaxial cable, connect the coaxial cable connector of the modem to the cable wall outlet. Ensure to make a finger-tight connection.
- Now, connect the power adapter of the router and switch it on.
- The Power light of the router will light solid white. This process will consume 1 minute.
- Now, wait and let the Online LED go solid white.
- This might take 10 minutes or more.
This is to inform you that the despite the Orbi flashing white light, the router is still not connected to the internet. In other words, the Orbi CBR750 setup is not complete yet. Thus, you should activate the modem now with your ISP.
2. Activate the Modem Router if ISP is Xfinity
- If your existing modem was from Xfinity, get it removed from the service.
- Now, enable cellular data on your mobile phone (Avoid using WiFi).
- Launch the Xfinity app now and sign in using the valid details.
- Go through the in-app instructions to go online. It will consume 5 minutes.
- Now, load an internet browser and go to orbilogin.com.

- Accept T&C
- Change the Netgear CBR750 router’s admin details and answer security questions
- Review the WiFi details of your router
3. Activate the Modem with Other ISP
- Connect your modem router and PC using a WiFi connection or a LAN cable.
- Launch an internet browser now.
- Go to orbilogin.com or access 192.168.1.1.
- Now, walk through the prompts and

- Change the administrative details of the Netgear CBR750 router
- Change and review the wireless network settings of the modem router
